Wet Felted Wool, Hand spun fiber, crochet, & needle felting
$375

“What Stayed” explores the quiet transformation that happens when memory, material, and process become inseparable. Created through wet felting, handspun fiber, crochet, and needle felting, the sculpture began as loose wool roving before slowly evolving into an organic vessel-like form layered with movement and texture.

The flowing blue fibers emerge from the soft white surface like fragments resurfacing — tangled thoughts, emotions, or moments that refuse to disappear completely. Balancing softness with structure, the piece reflects my ongoing exploration of fiber as both material and language.

Working with fiber feels deeply instinctual to me. The repetitive motions of spinning, felting, and stitching become a form of remembering — a way of holding onto things that cannot always be expressed through words.
